David Leahy

Lt. David Leahy began his career with the West Chester University Police Department in 1998.  In 1999 Lt. Leahy was hired as a part-time police officer with the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police department and was promoted to full-time officer in 2001.  In 2008 Lt. Leahy was promoted to the rank of Corporal and then to the rank of Sergeant in 2012 spending that time in the patrol division.  In 2016 Lt. Leahy was promoted to Lieutenant where he currently oversees the patrol division of the police department.

Lt. Leahy holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Law Enforcement Leadership from American Public University.  In 2015 Lt. Leahy graduated from the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police Command and Leadership Academy and in 2018 received FBI LEEDA’s Trilogy Award after completing the Supervisor, Command Leadership, and Executive Leadership Institute programs.
